Vinyl stickers are used throughout the retail and wholesale industry. They are more vivid and vibrant in color than paint, are easier to apply and remove, and are very cost effective, which is a real benefit if your advertising budget is modest.

Installing a vinyl sticker to a window is easy! The first step is to begin with a clean window surface. If you plan to install a sticker or banner on a window remove any old stickers first and thoroughly clean the window. Use a cleaning product that will remove any old residual adhesive left by prior stickers. As a safety measure and just good common sense, wear goggles and Plastic Gloves when doing this.
Next cut the sticker into smaller sections if it is a large design. Mark the window where you want to place the sticker. A quick way is to use masking tape. Place tape at the corners of the area you wish to apply the sticker to. Next, apply liquid adhesive onto the window area. Don't' worry if the adhesive extends beyond the area where you will be placing the sticker. You can clean this off later. If your sticker has an adhesive backing, then simply remove the backing. Place the sticker on the window in the marked location and use your hand or a smooth edged tool, such as a squeegee, to smooth out the wrinkles and press the sticker onto the window surface. Clean up any extra adhesive around the sticker with a clean cloth. Viola! Your sticker is installed.
Here are a few more tips. It can be helpful after you have measured to tape the sticker in the location, step back, and eye ball the placement it to make sure it looks right to you. This will save having to do it all over again and wasting time. Secondly, make accurate measurements before applying the sticker. The old rule to measure three times before applying is good advice. It will save you a great deal of time and frustration if you get it where you want it the first time.
